The yodaTEQ mount sandwiches between the side mirror and the door

Step 1: Carefully remove the door panel to gain access to the 3 bolts holding the side view mirror in place

Step 2: Loosen the 3 bolts holding the side view mirror in place but be sure to support the mirror with one hand or with the help of a friend to prevent it from falling

Step 3: Insert the yodaTEQ Ditch Light onto the mirror lining up the triangle cut out

Step 4: Reinstall the side view mirror, sandwiching the bracket into place. Tighten the 3 mirror bolts slowly in a circular pattern to make sure it is evenly mounted

Step 5: Replace the door panel and all associated wire connectors, and you’re done!

The routing of the wire harness is dependent on you or the installer. There’re multiple ways of running the wires. I’ve found the easiest way is to loosen the fender bolts along the top of the fender and one in the door jam; to allow you to slightly pull it away and give you access to run the wire into the engine bay. Alternatively, you can run the ditch light and puddle light wiring into the vehicle though the mirror’s housing. Running the wires alongside the mirror’s wiring. For this type of install you would have to cut a notch to run the additional wires.
